Spread the funny. Book The Iron Mule: Funny Film Festival into your movie theater.
For 11 years, the Iron Mule has presented a brilliant monthly program of short comedy films. With roots in the New York City underground stand-up comedy and independent film and theater scenes, the Iron Mule has become a staple for filmgoers who love seriously funny movies.
Now the funniness is spreading around the world.
Before they were famous, the Iron Mule featured the works of Stephen Colbert, Dan Harmon (creator of “Community”), Aziz Ansari, Tim and Eric, Lena Dunham, plus scores of comedians (Todd Barry, Dana Gould, Nick Kroll, Liam McEneaney, Paul Scheer, Chris Elliott) and writers and comedians who have gone on to write for television shows such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Conan, The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Saturday Night Live.
Now the Iron Mule – hosted by Jay Stern and Victor Varnado, and once known as First Sundays – celebrates a move to its new monthly location at the legendary Symphony Space, following years of sold out programs at the Pioneer Theater and 92Y Tribeca, with a new “best of this year” program to screen annually around the world.
The program runs about 95 minutes.
Purchase here and receive a Quicktime download licensed to screen a single time to up to 100 people. If you need more, or if you’re a traditional booker and don’t want to deal with this download nonsense, get in touch and we’ll be glad to work out something.
