Spreading the funny.
For 11 years, the Iron Mule has presented a brilliant monthly program of short comedy films. Now the funny is spreading. With roots in the New York City underground stand-up comedy and independent film and theater scenes, the Iron Mule has become a staple for filmgoers who love seriously funny movies.

Now the funniness is spreading around the world.
Before they were famous, the Iron Mule featured the works of Stephen Colbert, Dan Harmon (creator of “Community”), Aziz Ansari, Tim and Eric, Lena Dunham, plus scores of comedians (Todd Barry, Dana Gould, Nick Kroll, Liam McEneaney, Paul Scheer, Chris Elliott) and writers and comedians who have gone on to write for television shows such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Conan, The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Saturday Night Live.
Now the Iron Mule – hosted by Jay Stern and Victor Varnado, and once known as First Sundays – celebrates a move to its new monthly location at the legendary Symphony Space, following years of sold out programs at the Pioneer Theater and 92Y Tribeca, with a new “best of this year” program to screen annually around the world.
The program runs about 95 minutes.
Purchase now for a direct download to screen one time to up to 100 people in your movie theater; charge what you wish. For screenings to more than 100 people, get in touch. If your screening is after September 1, 2013, we will also be able to provide a DCP, so get in touch for that, too.
